So, any of them we can put in, social network, this one in this Collection item right underneath, social network, again by default its just a paragraph but we can get that text for that paragraph from the brief project description. And before we configure everything else, lets copy and paste so well have six of these total. Now, could we just add the Navbar we already created to the bottom of the homepage?, [McGuire] No need to worry. Let's do 80%, and we'll press Escape. [Sara] Cool. Thats because in our section, if we remember way back to the beginning of this course, the padding on Tablet changes to thirty. So you can see this one's already getting the alt text, and so is this one. If we look this red, this rust color, we've set this in our CMS. If we want to go back. So let's check frosted glass and bring it down to, let's do, 55. Let's go back to our homepage. Say about nine degrees, 9.5 degrees matches pretty nicely. [McGuire] Okay. In fact, if we click through, we go to the larger breakpoint. [Sara] The hero image in the Collection list. But remember, at any time you can clone each stage of this build to dig in and follow along with exactly what weve done along the way. In fact, we want it going to current project. And now Im going to do it again. So check that out, if you haven't already. We can actually select our paragraph, maybe we want that a little tighter as well. Let's move on to the password page and check out the larger breakpoint. If you've never deployed a website before, it can be quite confusing figuring out how to get your website online. Its going all the way to the edges. We have the flip the switch on, BUT, if your profile isnt public on Webflow, you gotta do that first. Lets add another one for the project details, rich text, project details. Now, up on the top right here, we can click this little pin icon, and we can add the project color, we can do the project year, we could do the project link, well theyre all Google right now. And well hit one button: Publish. So, notice the spacing between each of the nav links and the Say Hi button. So, Desktop looking solid., Lets move on to Tablet. We'll do minus 20. So if we want to go into the lock itself and say Let's use a custom description "lock icon." Now, youll want to make sure to add a site plan first, and once youve done that, down on the page youll see we can add a custom domain. Message is staying outside, thats looking pretty good. We're off to a great start. Let's press got it. We built a contact page (which people can click over to from any page). That's because we have to make sure on the Y action as well. Now we have a Container. Share it with me. And we can just pull that information right from our Collection. Common passwords include:. And what this is doing is it's pushing down everything else. The contrast ratio on page not found and everything here is pretty high especially when this isn't there, but it might not be so legible when someone's hovering over this. Section padding, we'll select the section. We have a section, and inside the section we have a container., Lets move on to our text elements, and we have two that were going to add here. Lets go and add a Collection list. [Sara] Ye-, no. This is consistent across all pages in our project. Again, this is what we're going to get in the habit of doing because this is a Symbol that's used on a lot of different pages. So now we have a proper H1, I'd love to hear from you. Cool. So well be dragging a lot of the stuff that we add to this container. Let's eyeball this maybe 30, 35vw. Lets add Twitter first, lets add that inside the link block. Markfolio is a minimalist design template for designers who want to showcase their work and process. Of course, well add our container class, and now everythings the way we need it to be. We can drag it right into that section. [McGuire] You know that was like four meters from the desk? And each of these selected projects as a refresher is made up of let's rename some of these to keep organized. We can grab the edge right here and test fluidity, see how everythings responding. Lets drag those four things. Its important to note that while were talking Sara is in the Figma project, iterating on a light version of this design. So, share your hero on Twitter using #webflow101. It should be. Let's drop the opacity of these cell colors to a lower value, maybe 20%. Long story short, 99% of the time, were just going to pressOK. And a lot of stuff comes up for directions, but we only have to do three things. That's good. Let's choose a 400 weight. We can also duplicate that class, so this can be secondary heading, and decrease the font size since its an H2, twenty-eight pixels. We set its width and its height to 100%. Create. We're scrolling down and see that rotation is a little more dramatic on a smaller breakpoint. We want say hi taking us to a page in our project. And were doing this to demonstrate that if we add another H2 somewhere else in the project, lets add a heading, lets put it underneath, and lets make it an H2. Now it's kind of buried underneath these two that's okay, because we're going to affect not the selected element, but the class. That looks good. All right. Clever. Lets say we dont want it to go above three hundred pixels, maybe a little higher. That could work. We want these things to stack vertically when we put stuff inside of our footer. [Sara] So yeah. Now if we test responsiveness, if we test fluidity, it looks like it works on all different widths. So let's click that. We also want it to be a little bit smaller, lets say twenty-eight pixels, with a height, let's use unitless one point one hyphen. So Tweeter, Instagram (or as I call it, Instagrimur), use #21DayPortfolio. Now, this a lot of control but heres how it works: all we have to do is start styling, so if we want to change our font to DM Serif Display we can do that. That happened because we created projects. Let's press play. [Sara] So only nine left. And if we want these to be side-by-side we can drag in a grid. Same basic concept as before, with the top section, lets grab a section element. And on each of these, with any of these elements, with Project Info selected, lets add some margin on the bottom to space these things out. In fact lets just hit Command Z and undo all the way back to the beginning., But that's a quick note on classes. We're going to fix that in a second, but let's demonstrate that we can do this on the second one as well. Were going to call it Secondary. Free ebooks, webinars, and whitepapers on web design, freelancing, and more. So we're going to do that right now. Get the text from the year. This time well right-click on the label on the canvas, and well go down and create a Symbol. So, whats the call to action? We're going to use CMS Collections to generate all of our pages by building one page. So we're done editing the grid and we're just going to follow this order. Lets go in and get the URL from our projects, so the place its going to take people is our project link. Let's copy this to our clipboard so we can always change it back, and let's change this to a darker color. So, instead with frosted glass selected, let's bring that back to 30 pixels on all sides. Share or upvote product ideas from the community. We do that here as well. It helps to break the process into these four focus areas. Let's rename this selected projects out. Lets actually remove this spacing altogether. So let's go in here., With any Paragraph selected, we can use the all Paragraphs tag. And by default its giving us a two by two, but lets see what happens if we remove one of those rows and add two more columns. Now, again, body page selected, Body (all pages), lets change our default font to Inter. So let's move on to our password-protected page. So the Div block now has all four of our elements. [Sara] A threat again? So in the contact page, in this case, we really don't have any additional images. We've seen this before. In fact, if we leave this, if we stop editing the symbol, we know that change carried through to the contact page.
